White, 23, is only behind the attacking duo of Nicholas Pepe and Pierre-EmerickAubameyang when it comes to the most expensive signings at Arsenal. Ivorian winger is still the recipient of the most expensive signing for the Gunners following his £72m transfer from French club Lille two years ago. For Arsenal skipper Aubameyang, the Gabonese international striker joined the Gunners from Borussia Dortmund in a £57m deal in January 2018.

England player White had 4.5 as his fantasy football value at Brighton last season and the same value would be maintained at Arsenal this season despite the big money move. He has 104 fantasy football points while he was in the colours of the Seagulls last season.

White showed his quality in the Premier League last season and was rewarded by winning the Player of the Year at Brighton this summer. He played 36 times for the Seagulls in his debut Premier League campaign last season.

His form for Brighton prompted England manager Gareth Southgate to name him in his provisional squad of 33 players ahead of the Euro 2020 tournament this summer. The new Arsenal player made his debut for his country as a substitute in the 1-0 win over Austria in an international friendly as the Three Lions stepped up preparations for Euro 2020.

White earned his second England cap some days after his first cap during the 1-0 win over Romania. He made his first England start against the Romanians. He was then named in the final England squad for Euro 2020 as a replacement for the injured Trent Alexander-Arnold.
